Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 15, 2026
Who We Are
The Persian American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast (“PACCSE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit business league serving Persian-American business owners and professionals across the Southeast. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through paccse.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Contact information you submit through membership applications, event registrations, the member directory, or general inquiries — name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and business/company details.
- Event and ticket details, including attendee names and, for catered events, meal selections.
- Payment information processed on our behalf by PayPal. We do not store your full card or bank account numbers on our servers — payment processing is handled entirely by our payment processor under its own privacy and security practices.
- Usage information collected automatically when you visit the Site, such as pages viewed and general analytics data, via standard web analytics tools.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process membership applications, dues, and event ticket purchases.
- Communicate with you about your membership, event registrations, and PACCSE programming.
- Maintain the member directory (only with your consent to be listed).
- Improve the Site and our programs.
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and process payments (e.g., our website host and payment processor), under obligations to protect your information.
- Event venues and caterers, limited to the attendee and meal-selection details needed to run an event.
- Government or regulatory authorities where required by law.
Cookies & Analytics
The Site uses standard cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the Site and to keep the shopping cart and checkout functioning correctly. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the Site, such as the shop and checkout.
Data Retention
We retain membership, event, and order records for as long as needed to administer your membership, fulfill event obligations, and meet our accounting and legal recordkeeping requirements.
Your Choices
You may ask us to update, correct, or delete your personal information, or to remove your listing from the member directory, at any time by contacting us using the information below. We will honor these requests except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
